Second Chance Sheltering Network, Inc

We are a no-kill, all volunteer foster based organization who specializes in stray, orphaned, abandoned and abused cats. All of our rescues are spay/neutered, given all required shots, dewormed, checked for feline leukemia/FIV, and placed in foster homes until they can be showcased at a local adoption center.

All adoption interested applicants are diligently screened for suitability as an adoptive parent. If approved, adopters are given ongoing support for the transitional period of adjustment in the new home.

Our goal is to promote aggressive low-cost spay and neuter programs in order to reduce the number of unwanted animals and therefore stopping the killing of excess pets. Our focus on "street rescue" of abandoned animals has led to close affiliations with other organizations in our area with respect to setting up maintained and supervised feral cat colonies. All feral cats are spay/neutered, vaccinated and released back into the community from which they come.
